Target group
This course is designed for teachers, youth workers, school leaders, school counsellors, inclusion coordinators, and other professionals working with vulnerable learners who need extra support navigating online risks safely.
Course objective
This course empowers educators and professionals to promote digital responsibility, prevent online risks, and build cyber resilience in educational communities. Special attention is given to the challenges faced by migrant children and young people in vulnerable situations, ensuring safer online experiences for all.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the psychological and educational impact of online risks and digital threats.
- Gain practical strategies to identify, prevent, and intervene in cyber incidents.

Understanding Online Risks and Their Impact

Building a Safe and Responsible Digital Environment
• Active listening and digital empathy-building activities
• Strategies for fostering responsible digital interactions

Conflict Resolution and Cyber Safety Strategies
• Understanding intervention models for online safety
• Practicing mediation and restorative justice approaches for cyber incidents

Implementing Whole-School Cyber Safety Policies
• Developing effective policies for digital safety
• Training students and staff on intervention strategies
• Engaging families and the community in online safety efforts
