Course objective
This course prepares educators to design and facilitate meaningful learning experiences for adults in prisons and other vulnerable contexts. Participants will explore trauma-informed practice, inclusive teaching strategies, communication techniques, and educational approaches that support dignity, motivation, personal development, and successful long-term reintegration.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Apply trauma-informed teaching;
- Support motivation in restrictive environments;
- Use non-violent communication;
- Design life-skills learning for reintegration and dignity.
Why choose this course?
Education in difficult contexts requires specialised approaches, patience, and trust. This course offers practical, tested methods for meaningful adult learning in settings where standard educational models often do not work, helping participants adapt confidently to complex, sensitive environments.
Our trainers
Trainers experienced in prison education, trauma-informed practice, social inclusion, and reintegration support, bringing direct, practical experience from working with vulnerable adults in some of the most demanding and sensitive educational settings.
