Course objective
This course is designed to help NGO members and adult educators understand practical Danish approaches for working with seniors and develop training activities that can later be transferred and multiplied in their own organisations and communities. The focus is on active participation, digital inclusion, green activities and community-based learning for the 50+ generation.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Apply active learning methods adapted to senior groups;
- Use accessible digital tools to support senior participation;
- Organise green and community-based activities for elderly participants;
- Transfer selected Danish practices into local NGO activities.
Why choose this course?
This course offers a unique combination of methodology (PBL, Design Thinking) and field experience (study visits to institutions specialized in 50+ programmes). Participants leave with a ready-to-use training module and a “Senior Engagement Toolkit” for transferring knowledge back to their countries.
